Instead of going out on dates why not hang out with your friends on February 14th? Let’s make Valentine’s Day the best girl’s night. This blog post is about how to celebrate Galentines with your friends.
Where did Galentine’s Day Come From?
This is a day to celebrate with your lady friends, whether they are single or in a relationship. This day is for all my ladies out there!
The idea of Galentine’s Day was also brought up in 2010 by a show called Parks and Recreation, which has become a staple for some women today.
I love the idea of having a day just to celebrate your friendship with your girl squad!
How to Host The Best Galentine’s Day
To host the best Galentine’s day for you and your friend group, here are a few things you have to do;
1. Create A Guestlist
Do you want your Galentine’s Day party to be small or big? Create a guest list of all the girlfriends you have in your life. This can also include your siblings, in-laws, and cousins.
Remember to not make anyone feel left out on purpose. Even if you think they’ll say no, still send an invitation.
2. Come up with a Menu
When playing a Galentine’s Day, some people may ask “What food is eaten on Galentine’s Day?”
Honestly… Basically anything. You can get the food catered, and have someone come in to cook the food (we’ll speak on that later on.) Or have a potluck where each person brings a dish.
This will all depend on the theme and activity you choose, which goes to my next point…
3. Prepare a Theme and Activities
This is always the fun part. Preparing what you and your girls are going to be doing. This could be something outside of the house or an activity that can be hosted right inside your home.
If you want to go the extra mile you can come up with a theme that both you and your guestlist have to follow. This could include dress code, items that they bring, and so much more.
Down below are some great Galentine’s Day ideas For you and your ladies to enjoy!
