Congratulations on getting engaged! During this crisis, unfortunately, we can’t celebrate big with our friends and family. Here are some ideas I’m sharing with you on how to celebrate your engagement during the pandemic
1) Virtually Tell your Family Through Zoom
Get everybody on a Zoom call and celebrate the news! It’s not the same in person, although when you’re ready to leave the party, all you have to do is click the end call button!
2) Host a Small Dinner With your Social Bubble
What my fiance and I did was celebrated with everyone who was within our social bubble. Luckily when my fiance proposes it was right before we were going to attend Thanksgiving dinner at his family’s house.
If restrictions permit. Have a small engagement dinner with your social bubble! It’s a nice way to share the news in an intimate way.

3) Share it on Social Media
this is an option but you can share the news on social media that you’re engaged! This helps a lot with sharing with family members all at once! Share it on Facebook, Instagram, or even Twitter!
4) Take Engagement Photos
Even if this is to hire a photographer or even DIY your own photos. Make the most of it and then print out some physical copies! My fiance and I can never take a good photo with each other. so we decided to take engagement photos.
It was a fun activity we did with each other and it got us a bit excited for the wedding.
After you receive the photos then you can either print them out or similar to my previous point, post them on social media!
5) Begin Brainstorming Wedding Ideas
You and your fiance can take this time to begin brainstorming ideas on what you want at your wedding and begin planning
6) Celebrate the two of you
take a moment to celebrate between the both of you. Before the chaos of wedding planning and having many events, go out to eat, or order in maybe.

7) Post-pone The Engagement Party
if you have a gathering limit and you’re having a longer engagement then you’re able to post-pone sharing your celebration with your friends! Once you know the gathering limits will increase then you can plan something out.
Remember that you’re only engaged once to your partner and to create every memory with them.
