Moving into your new apartment, you have to think of everything. From the bathroom to your linen closet. There are so many things you need for your bathroom, so here is a list of must-haves you need in your Bathroom today.
20 Bathroom Must-Haves
1. Bathroom Mats
Having bath mats help so much to keep your floors dry, and resist the potential of mold to happen on your floors. You can find bath mats at your local Walmart to your local Homegoods/Homesense.
2. Toothbrush holder & Soap Set
Instead of having your toothbrush and toothpaste sitting on the counter, you can make your counter look more organized with a toothbrush holder. They are different types of toothbrush holders. Ones that can hold your toothbrush and toothpaste, or just your toothbrush.
You can also buy a set that comes with a soap dispenser. Usually, I just buy the soaps at Bath and Bodyworks that would make the season we are in. Although I do sometimes use our soap dispenser.
3. Shower Curtain & Liner
Helps to stop water from getting on the floor and plus there are so many stylish shower curtains you can use to match your theme.
4. Hand Towels
It’s a go-to towel that you and your guest can use to dry your hands. Buying a couple of sets will help you to switch them out every week or even when guests are on their way, you can just switch them out with fresh ones.
5. Command Hooks
When I moved into my apartment, I noticed we only had one hook. Instead of adding holes into the wall, we decided to get command hooks. So easy to put on, and easy to take off. This is renter-friendly, which will not ruin the paint or the walls in your apartment.
6. Containers
This is where you can place your Q-tips, cotton balls, and makeup pads. You can literally put anything inside these. With my bathroom, we have such limited space, and these containers help to maximize my space in the bathroom.
7. Bathroom Basket Organizer
Another organization favorite! If you have limited space underneath your bathroom sink (like mine!), then I highly suggest you get basket organizers. I use bathroom organizers to hold all of my cleaning products in and some toiletry items.
8. Wash Cloths
Something I have started since I moved out and I highly, highly suggest you do the same. I believe you should be using a separate towel for your face. So when I moved in I bought extra washcloths for my face and it was a game-changer!
9. Toilet Brush Cleaner & Plunger Set
A toilet brush cleaner and a plunger are necessary for your bathroom. A toilet brush cleaner and plunger set can help with limiting space in your bathroom, to make it look more open.
Have an extra set of washcloths for your guest and even for you!
10. Toilet Paper Holder
Instead of an open toilet paper holder why not a toilet paper container? I bought a toilet paper container, and I notice my toilet paper is more protected, no dust is found on it, and just seems more hygienic.
11. Garbage Can
I love the grey cylinder look of a garbage can. Plus I like having a closed lid garbage can for the bathroom.
12. Shower Organizer
If you have a lot of shower products like me, you will need a shower organizer. This can be easily installed inside the shower and also you will not need to drill any holes. Such a renter-friendly product!
13. Drain Stopper
To help stop hair from going down the drain. Easier to clean than trying to go down the drain haha.
14. Bath Tub Mat
A bathtub mat helps to prevent slips and falls in the shower. One thing I always fear is if I am home alone and I slip in the shower.
With a bathtub mat, this eases my heart knowing that neither myself nor my fiance will get potentially hurt in the shower.
15. Spa Caddy
How would it feel to have a nice bath in your own bathroom? Watch your favorite show on your laptop or iPad? That sounds amazing! Here is a Spa set where you can rest your laptop/iPad, a cup of wine, and a nice candle.
16. Waterproof Speaker
A waterproof speaker is a game changer! I use my waterproof speaker all the time. With the number of concerts I have held in the shower, I could literally go on a world tour haha.
If you love music and want to dance in the shower (safely), then I highly suggest investing in a shower speaker.
17. Drawer Organizer
If you have drawers in your bathroom, then these are for you. You can use these drawers to organize your skincare products, without having your bathroom drawers look like junk drawers.
18. Cabinet Towel Holder
I have a pet peeve of a wet sink, so I always have a microfibre towel near the sink to wipe it down.
Using a cabinet towel holder helps to not destroy the bathroom cabinets and you can add your cleaning gloves or anything you may want!
19. Makeup Organizer
If you do your makeup in the bathroom and have a large counter space, I highly suggest getting a makeup organizer. A makeup organizer obviously organizes your makeup but also keeps your counters clean.
20. Night Light
Raise your hand if you go to the bathroom multiple times during the night. Having a night light in the bathroom can help you so much to see where you are going and what you are doing.
The amount of times I have stubbed my toe is insane haha!
